Lennard is head of Private Equity at De Brauw. He acts for Dutch and international private equity firms on their acquisitions and exit transactions, as well on other matters throughout the investment period. In addition, Lennard regularly acts for founders and family-owned companies who wish to sell their company or to partner with private equity. He is often consulted for his expertise in governance arrangements between shareholders, private equity funds and co-investors, including minority investments by private equity, and in warranty & indemnity insurance and management participation plans.

Career

Lennard is recognised as a leader in his field, as also confirmed by Legal 500 (‘Hall of Fame’ for Private Equity) and Chambers. Lennard was nominated as one of six lawyers for the Dutch Best M&A Lawyer Award each year as from 2020 and won the award in 2021 and 2023.

Lennard played an important role in establishing De Brauw’s Singapore office.
