Bas specialises in general banking, finance and restructuring matters - his recent Executive Master in Finance demonstrates his deep knowledge of corporate finance that goes beyond the legal aspects of matters.

Bas' practice covers the full spectrum of finance and capital markets transactions, and often involves highly complex and multi-faceted cross-border matters. He has taken leading roles in negotiating large (sustainability-linked) corporate credit facilities, implementing acquisition financing arrangements for transformative acquisitions and designing comprehensive capital restructurings both in- and outside of distressed situations. He also has substantial expertise in project financing and construction.

Bas' client base runs the gamut from large listed and non-listed corporates, to financial institutions and private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies. As a result, he is very comfortable on all sides of the table.
