Practice Areas

As Managing Partner, Marnix makes up the Management Board, together with Anja Mutsaers (Practice Partner) and Dorothee van Vredenburch (Executive Partner).

Prior to taking up leadership of the firm in January 2020, Marnix was head of the firm’s Arbitration practice. He has specialised in international arbitration for over 23 years and acted as trusted adviser to clients for all their arbitration and litigation needs, across the globe.

Personal

Marnix has been a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration since 2006, and has been Vice-President of the ICC Court since 2015. He is also co-chair of the ICC Commission’s Task Force on Emergency Arbitration. He is an active member of the ICC’s Institute of World Business Law, the ICC’s Commission on Arbitration, ICCA and of the IBA Arbitration Committee.
