Mark Crandley advocates for clients in complex appeals before federal and state courts across the country. He has litigated claims before most federal circuit courts of appeal and has authored briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court. Mark has also argued cases before the Indiana Supreme Court dozens of times. He regularly practices before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Indiana Court of Appeals.
Mark represents government entities facing constitutional challenges, environmental and utility disputes, financing transaction controversy, and public access issues. He believes in creating efficient litigation strategies, particularly for expedited cases that often impact the government.
Mark’s knowledge of government operations often proves invaluable when representing public and private sector clients. As a result, he is frequently asked to speak on topics that affect local governments and businesses. Mark has been a regularly invited speaker at the annual meeting of the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association for more than a decade. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the Indiana Supreme Court and worked as a newspaper reporter and editor.
Mark co-hosts a podcast that reviews key cases from the Seventh Circuit.
