Marie Løvbjerg advises on competition law, merger control and state aid. She advises on all aspects of competition law and state aid and handles legal procedures before the Danish competition authorities, the European Commission and the courts.
Marie has special expertise within competition law in relation to trade organisations, industry, retail and FMCG. Her advice covers infringement cases, compliance procedures, damage actions, training and general legal assessments. Marie also advises on distribution contracts and online sale. She also has wide experience in handling cases concerning mergers before the Danish competition authorities and the European Commission.
Within state aid, Marie has wide experience in advising both municipalities and public and private businesses. Marie assists with ensuring that the aid is legal, including how to treat state aid and when to obtain an exemption, e.g. under the vertical block exemption regulation. She also has experience advising on state aid within sports and culture, aviation and research and innovation.
