Anders Ibsen Melballe

Anders Ibsen Melballe has many years of experience as a specialist in the restructuring of distressed companies, insolvency proceedings and dispute resolution, and is a certified insolvency lawyer under the Association of Danish Insolvency Lawyers.

As a partner in the insolvency department, Anders advises a wide range of Danish and international companies, including in particular financial creditors, on distressed exposures, restructurings and bankruptcies. He approaches these matters with a commercial, solution‑oriented and transaction‑focused mindset that ensures clients the best possible outcome.

Anders’ experience also includes advising both companies and creditors on directors’ and management liability, avoidance actions and creditor rights, including the possibilities for litigation. In addition, he provides assistance in general commercial matters and has extensive experience in dispute resolution, including the initiation and conduct of court and arbitration proceedings.
