A partner in the Tax practice, Marie-Emmanuelle works closely with clients on all aspects of their domestic and international tax planning. She advises clients on tax matters across a broad range of critical business activities, including corporate reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions, fund formation, real estate, financings and restructurings, often in a cross-border context. She regularly acts for public and private companies and their shareholders, as well as pension and investment funds and tax-exempt entities. Marie-Emmanuelle also has significant expertise in advising high-net-worth clients on their estate tax planning and trust matters. She is a frequent lecturer and speaker and is actively involved with the International Fiscal Association, the Association de planification fiscale et financière and the Canadian Tax Foundation, of which she was until recently a governor and a member of the executive committee. She is also member of Davies’ Management Committee.
