Career

Partner of Demarest's Insurance and Reinsurance practice, Márcia Cicarelli Barbosa de Oliveira has more than 22 years of expertise in the area. She leads on cases of high complexity in all fields of Insurance, consults on contracts, operations, products development and regulation of claims, also acting as attorney before Arbitration Courts and Chambers. Marcia has been assistant professor of Civil Law in the Graduation course at PUC-SP and invited professor at USP to lecture on Insurance and Reinsurance. Currently, she is a professor of the MBA course in Insurance and Reinsurance Law and of the Executive MBA in Insurance and Reinsurance, both from FUNENSEG (National School of Insurance) and a speaker at various national and international events.
