Career

Manel is a partner (since 2022) in Pérez-Llorca’s Employment practice. He has extensive experience in all areas of employment and labour relations, including legal proceedings, strategic advice on employment matters, collective bargaining, as well as the design and implementation of occupational risk prevention and equality plans. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, he has developed his career in reputable Spanish firms and major public institutions.

He works in Spanish, Catalan and English.

Manel has held leadership positions throughout his career, including serving as partner of a prestigious Spanish law firm, where he was a member of the Management Committee and Director of its Barcelona office. Previously, he worked in his own practice as well as at Caixa Catalunya, the Catalan Health Institute and the National Institute of Social Security.

In the academic field, he has been an associate lecturer in several renowned programmes, including the ESADE Master’s degree for Access to the Legal Profession, the Master’s degree in Employment Law Consultancy at the Universitat de Barcelona, and currently at the Universitat de Girona, where he has also taught in its Master’s programmes.

He is the author and co-author of specialised publications, including:
