Louis Hait’s practice covers a broad range of commercial real estate, with an emphasis on representing capital providers at all levels of the capital stack, including representing banks, private equity funds and pension plans in originating structured mortgage and mezzanine debt and construction loans, negotiating intercreditor and co-lender agreements, acquiring portfolios of performing and non-performing loans, and providing mezzanine, preferred equity and common equity joint venture investments. Louis’ practice includes the acquisition, disposition, leasing and ground leasing of commercial property. He has substantial experience counseling institutional lenders and borrowers in complex real estate loan workouts and restructurings.
