Lizhi Yuan

Mr. Yuan Lizhi obtained his LL.M.s in International Law from Shanghai University of International Business and LL.M.s in International Business Law from National University of Singapore respectively. Mr. Yuan joined Jingtian & Gongcheng in 2016.

Mr. Yuan is a certified EU privacy professional (CIPP/E), certified information privacy manager (CIPM) and certified information security professional (CISP). He participated in the drafting of a number of standards concerning information security and big data.

Mr. Yuan acts as research fellow of East China University of Political Science and Law Research Center of Data Law and Governance and as off-campus tutor of East China Normal University School of Law.

Mr. Yuan specializes in cybersecurity and data protection, TMT, Fintech and frontier TechLaw. Mr. Yuan has provided legal services in the area TechLaw for many famous enterprises at home and abroad, and has undertaken a series of frontier and challenging projects. Mr. Yuan has accumulated rich practical experience, and is a well-known expert in this field.

Mr. Yuan has been consecutively awarded by Legal 500 as a “Highly Recommended Practitioner” in TMT and data protection. He is also recognized by Legalband as Band one “Top Cybersecurity and Data Lawyer”, “Top 15 Chinese Cybersecurity and Data Compliance Lawyer" ，Top 15 Chinese High-tech & AI Lawyer" and so forth.
