Ms. Abbott is a Partner in the Employment Law Department of Paul Hastings. She previously served as Global Employment Law Department Vice Chair-West Coast, and Chair of the Los Angeles Employment Law Department. Ms. Abbott co-chairs the firm’s nationwide wage and hour practice group and the California Private Attorney General’s Act (PAGA) practice group. She specializes in complex class, collective and PAGA representative actions. She handles investigations and audits by the Federal Department of Labor and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, advises and trains companies on wage and hour best practices, and conducts pay and classification compliance reviews.

Ms. Abbott represents employers in all aspects of employment law in industries including retail, technology, manufacturing, entertainment, finance, insurance, health care, real estate, hospitality, and many others.
