Leo is a Partner and Head of William Fry's Technology department. he specialises in technology, data protection (including cyber security) and intellectual property law. Leo advises on IT and business process outsourcing, software licensing and development and emerging technologies (including AI). He advises on the GDPR, marketing, international transfers, data breach and cyber incidents, and engagements with Data Protection regulators. In his IP practice, he advises on IP protection, licensing, exploitation strategies and brand management.

A regular contributor of articles to publications, Leo has also participated in lecture programmes on data protection, commercial law and intellectual property. He is the author of a chapter on law on AI in Ireland.
