Paul is a Partner in William Fry's Litigation & Dispute Resolution department. He advises individuals and corporate clients involved in domestic and multi-jurisdictional contractual/tortious disputes and represents the Irish interests of a number of global corporations and Irish based entities. Paul has extensive experience of advising clients where issues arise involving corporate and financial litigation, including financial crime litigation/white collar crime, sanctions issues, investigations, shareholder disputes and reputational damage/defamation issues. He also advises on asset recovery issues and acts on behalf of risk industry entities in respect of complex, high-value insurance claims and coverage disputes.
Paul is a Fellow of the International Academy of Financial Crime Litigators. He is Vice President of the Union Internationale des Avocats Commercial Litigation committee. He is a vice-president of the ABA International Litigation Group and Assistant Editor of the ABA International Dispute Resolution News. He is also the Irish Expert of the International Distribution Institute and a member of the London Commercial Litigators' Forum. He is the firm's representative in the Harmonie Group, an invite only insurance defence organisation.
