Provides regulatory and transactional advice with respect to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, medical data, cosmetics, food and beverages, hospitals, research institutions, medical services and other healthcare-related businesses. Also advises on financial regulation (including securities, asset management and investment fund regulation), fund formation and management.

Career

Joined Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu in 2000; became partner in 2012. Trained at Kirkland & Ellis (Chicago) (2006-07). Worked at the Financial Services Agency of Japan (2007-09). Served as Special Adviser to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (2014-15).
