Ken advises companies, boards, and senior executives on high-stakes employment matters, class actions, and crisis management strategies. Based in Los Angeles, he also serves as Office Managing Partner of the Century City office and as Chair of the firm’s California Practice.
Ken represents employers in employment class actions and PAGA cases and guides them through complex disputes that shape the future of their industries. He counsels clients in healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, higher education, and sports industries, with a strong focus on issues tied to the outsourced economy. Ken helps companies navigate corporate campaigns, manage reputational risks, and protect long-term business interests. He builds close working relationships with leadership teams, delivering practical, forward-looking advice and representation during critical moments.
Ken’s practice also covers labor relations, discrimination claims, trade secret disputes, non-compete issues, and compliance with OSHA, DOL, and FLSA requirements. He is frequently called on by major media for commentary, serves as an expert witness on various employment and human resources issues, and testifies before legislative and regulatory bodies on behalf of his clients.
Ken continues to support employers as they adapt to evolving labor trends and regulatory pressures, helping them safeguard their operations and maintain a competitive edge.

-Dawson v NCAA: lead counsel for NCAA in case challenging the basic premise of College sports as an amatuer activity for student athletes. Plaintiffs case was dismissed by US district court NDCA Judge Richard Seeborg.
-Swissport/Servisair: advised and led team developing the legal strategy and tactics for integrating primarily union company with primarily non-union company in largest airport services company in the country.
-Pebble Beach Company: worked on class action with CEO and worked through business of golf Caddies and business model.
