Katrina Charles

A criminal barrister specialising in complex crime, Katrina prosecutes and defends the full spectrum of criminal cases including homicide, rape and serious sexual offences, modern slavery, drug trafficking and fraud.

Included on the rape and serious sexual offences panel, Katrina deals with highly sensitive sexual offences involving vulnerable complainants. A persuasive advocate who is regularly instructed as leading junior in multi-handed complex financial crime cases. A Fraud specialist with a background in accountancy. Recent cases include a high profile murder, cold case murder, historic sex cases involving children, multi-handed insurance fraud and conspiracy to supply Class A drugs across county lines.

Regularly gives seminars at Secondary schools to share her experience and educate teenagers on the issues surrounding consent and sexual offences.
