Karl is frequently involved in Austria's most prominent real estate and infrastructure transactions. Only recently, he took a leading role in the acquisition of Hutchison's passive mobile communication infrastructure, comprising some 4,500 sites across Austria, by Cellnex. Karl has also a remarkable track record in project finance, with an emphasis on green energy, and hyperscale project developments for tech companies and clients from the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, Karl co-heads the firm's private client practice and frequently advises on the acquisition of trophy real properties and on wealth management.
Karl holds an LL.M. degree in European business law and has more than 18 years of professional experience. Prior to his career as attorney, he spent three years with a notary public and passed all professional exams with honours. He joined Wolf Theiss in early 2008. Karl is co-author of the standard commentary on Austrian land register law.
