Kaloyan Krumov is a Head of the Real Estate & Construction department and a partner at DGKV’s Banking & Finance practice group. Kaloyan focuses on advising lenders in a wide range of finance transactions, both domestic and cross-border, in various industry sectors.
In addition to leading Bulgarian law governed finance transactions for the top Bulgarian banks, as well as other domestic and international lenders, he has significant experience as a local counsel in cross-border transactions governed by the laws of other jurisdictions, such as English law, US other others.
Kaloyan has extensive experience advising on the development and construction of residential, commercial, infrastructure and energy projects - including wind, solar, nuclear related and battery energy storage systems (BESS). He assists sponsors and developers throughout the project lifecycle, from permitting and land acquisition to EPC contracts and planning-construction regulatory compliance. His work includes structuring project agreements, navigating complex regulatory frameworks, and mitigating risks associated with large-scale energy infrastructure developments.
In addition, Kaloyan focuses on advising lenders in a wide range of finance transactions, both domestic and cross-border, in various industry sectors.
