Kalina Tchakarova is a Partner at DGKV, where she heads the firm’s Intellectual Property and Pharma & Healthcare practices and co-heads the firm’s Media, Entertainment and Sports practice. Her areas of expertise also include contract law, employment, M&A and general corporate law. Kalina has extensive experience dealing with all types of matters for the pharma industry, including M&A, incorporations, distribution, and product launch, as well as with decommercialization, regulatory issues, advertisements, clinical trials, relations with HCPs and HCOs, employment, public-procurement procedures, and appeals of regulatory decisions.

Kalina laid the ground of the Pharma Regulatory practice of the firm and has succeeded in building up the practice and making it one of the best on the Bulgarian legal market. She has worked on major life sciences projects in Bulgaria and has extensive experience in providing expert advice to major pharmaceutical companies on all aspects of their operations in Bulgaria, including on regulatory, labour, privacy, data protection and intellectual property matters. She has broad experience in handling personal data protection and privacy in the healthcare environment matters concerning sensitive patients’ data processing. Kalina Tchakarova provides expert, practical and tailored legal advice to some of DGKV’s major international and domestic corporate clients. She has worked on major pharma projects in Bulgaria.
