Nowadays our team is one of the largest and most accomplished in handling multiple investigations and proceedings. DGKV has developed a strong competition practice and has made a significant contribution to the development of laws and practices of the Bulgarian competition regulator – Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC);

Dessislava Iordanova is a Senior Associate at DGKV and one of the lawyers in the firm’s Competition & Antitrust and Intellectual Property practices.

Dessislava represents clients in Bulgarian courts and before Bulgaria’s Commission for Protection of Competition, Patent Office, Consumers Protection Commission, and pharmaceuticals-regulatory authority in antitrust proceedings; unfair-competition, trademark, and industrial-designs cases; consumer disputes; and regulatory matters. Prior to joining DGKV, she spent ten years as head of a unit at the Commission for Protection of Competition and eight years as a senior lawyer at two other well-known law firms.

She is a member of the Sofia Bar, a registered industrial-property attorney at the Bulgarian Patent Office, and on the European Union’s Intellectual Property Office’s list of professional representatives in trademark and design matters.
