Jorge leads az's strategic advisory to clients on complex labour matters, including collective bargaining processes, labour issues affecting clients and companies, and the assessment of labour contingencies arising from mergers and acquisitions. He also represents clients in litigation before labour courts and higher courts of justice, among other responsibilities, combining strategic counsel with strong courtroom experience.

Widely recognized by prestigious international publications, Jorge holds a prominent position in Labour Law at the national level and is frequently regarded by the media as a leading voice on these matters. He has been a key opinion leader on issues such as Chile's 40-hour workweek reform and the impact of the Economic Crimes Law, in force since August 2023, on workplace environments and the criminal liability companies may face in managing their human resources. He also advises and guides clients on compliance with Chile's Ley Karin.
