Jonathan See

Jonathan See is a partner in our Business Law Group in Toronto and Co-head of the firm’s national M&A Group and Private Equity Group. He is one of Canada’s most well-known M&A lawyers acting for many of the leading financial sponsors in the market and multiple strategics on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, particularly in the technology, energy transition, infrastructure, energy and mining, and real estate industries. An accomplished dealmaker, Jonathan is also recognized by Legal 500, IFLR, Best Lawyers and Lexpert, for his significant experience in M&A, private equity, infrastructure, project finance and real estate. He was named a Rising Star by Lexpert, the annual award that honours Canada’s “Leading Lawyers Under 40”. He also led Canadian Law Awards’ 2022 M&A Deal of the Year - Brookfield Infrastructure’s C$15 billion cash and securities exchange takeover bid for Inter Pipeline Ltd.
