Jonathan M Albano

Jonathan Albano, a partner in the litigation practice at Morgan Lewis, focuses his practice primarily on commercial, media, and appellate litigation. He has tried to completion jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations and has argued over 40 appeals. Jon’s commercial litigation work includes representation of private and public companies and financial institutions in multimillion-dollar litigation claims. He has tried and obtained favorable results for clients in contract disputes, libel, purchase price adjustment, and complex construction claims. Jon’s practice also includes representing newspapers, entertainment and news broadcasters, publishers, universities, nonprofit organizations, and individuals in cases involving a variety of constitutional issues, including free speech rights; the public’s right of access to information; and privacy, defamation and equal protection claims.
