John Kirsner

John Kirsner has over 33 years' experience representing health systems and large provider organizations with innovative reform-driven transactions. John has led the formation of over two dozen clinically integrated networks, as well as many Medicare Shared Savings Program accountable care organizations, DCEs, value-based arrangements, and messenger models. John has extensive experience in the area of payer/provider contracting including shared savings, risk models including full and partial capitation, total cost of care models, and bundling programs. He is extremely familiar with hospital quality and efficiency programs, gainsharing and related co-management ventures. He has led many ACO waiver arrangements, including EMR, joint ventures, pharmacy, other ancillaries, and risk-sharing arrangements. John has extensive experience in the Federal Stark law and Anti-Kickback Statute relating to physician/health system alignment issues. He has led many hospital and health system M&A transactions. He has assisted in over 30 private placements and related equity transactions for health care organizations.
