Jennifer is a Partner in our Personal Injury team and Head of the Southwest Asbestos and Mesothelioma team based in Bristol. She exclusively represents sufferers of asbestos-related and respiratory diseases, including mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis, diffuse pleural thickening, silicosis, and their families.
Jennifer qualified in 2008 and has specialised in acting for sufferers of asbestos-related diseases ever since. She is an Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) Senior Litigator and accredited Occupational Disease and Asbestos Disease Specialist. Jennifer has recovered millions of pounds in compensation for her clients over the years. She has successfully concluded cases that other firms have dropped, recovered funding for her clients to have new treatments not yet available through the NHS, dealt with claims for expats and former armed forces personnel, and secured provisional and periodic payment orders for her clients to protect their future interests. Originally from the north west, where asbestos disease has impacted communities for many decades, Jennifer has a deep and thorough understanding of the impact a diagnosis of an asbestos or other occupational disease can have on people. Jennifer also lived in Swindon for a number of years and regularly acts for those who have developed asbestos related diseases as a result of exposure whilst working at British Rail in the town. During her time in Swindon Jennifer volunteered as a Trustee for local charity Prospect Hospice.
