Career

Clizia joined our Family team in September 2015 and advises on divorce and matrimonial finances. She is also involved in advising clients who have been victim of domestic abuse.

Clizia is an experienced Family Senior Associate who advises clients in connection with divorce and matrimonial finances and arrangements for children, as well as cases involving domestic abuse. Being an Italian national and speaker, Clizia regularly advises clients with a particular connection with that jurisdiction.

Clizia is an Italian national, and bilingual (Italian / English). She grew up in Italy and moved to the UK after completing her first degree in Law, to complete her post-graduate studies in Bristol. Clizia joined RWK Goodman in 2013 and, having completed her training, she qualified as a Bath Family Solicitor in 2015. She was promoted to Associate in 2020.

She is was named in 2019 and 2020 as an ‘Associate to Watch’ in Chambers and Partners. She recognises that even the most amicable of relationship breakdowns can be very emotional at times and aims to establish good relationships with clients, offering sympathy when needed at the same time as adopting a pragmatic approach in her advice. Whenever possible, she encourages clients to keep a line of communication open and to try and resolve matters through amicable and cost-effective negotiation.

Clizia is a member of Resolution and holds a Resolution Specialist accreditation. She is actively involved in the Bath Resolution Committee and Bristol Young Resolution Committee. Clizia is listed as an Italian speaking solicitor on the register held by the Italian Consulate in London.
