Jeffrey advises corporate end-users, financial institutions, investment funds, exchanges and trade associations with regulatory, legislative and transactional matters involving derivatives, commodities and securities. He assists clients with derivatives regulatory and compliance issues relating to the Dodd-Frank Act, the Commodity Exchange Act, the regulations of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and cross-border derivatives transactions. Jeffrey also counsels clients on regulatory matters involving cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology.
Before joining Gibson Dunn, he was special counsel in the CFTC’s Division of Market Oversight where he worked on several Dodd-Frank Act rulemakings.
