Jeffrey Knowles

Jeffrey Knowles is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault LLP’s Real Property & Planning group in Toronto and is also qualified to practice in British Columbia and Alberta. His practice includes all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, and he regularly advises clients in each of Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta on acquisitions, dispositions, financings (both for lenders and borrowers), leasing, development and structuring joint ventures, co-ownerships and limited partnerships used for the ownership, development and operation of real estate assets. In addition, Jeff’s practice frequently includes acting for promoters and sponsors in connection with structuring, creating and closing real estate investment funds and assisting those funds with the transactions required to place the capital raised on closing. He represents all manner of clients in the real estate industry, including pension funds, private equity funds, developers and lenders.
