Jeane Thomas

Jeane Thomas is a partner in Crowell & Moring's Antitrust and Privacy & Cybersecurity Groups and co-Chair of the E-Discovery and Information Management Practice. In her role with the E-Discovery practice, she has managed many e-discovery matters in both government investigations and private litigation, and regularly speaks and writes on e-discovery issues. She regularly counsels clients on Information Governance, including the development and application of effective information management policies, legal hold practices, and e-discovery response plans. In the privacy area, she counsels on cross-border data transfer and European data protection matters. She regularly speaks and writes on U.S. and cross-border e-discovery and data protection issues, and is a certified Information Privacy Professional, with a focus on European regulation (CIPP/E). In the antitrust area, she is engaged in all types of antitrust representations including mergers and joint ventures, civil litigation, civil and criminal government investigations, and counseling on a broad range of antitrust issues. Focuses extensively on digital markets, telecommunications and media, technology, chemicals and healthcare/pharmaceuticals industries.
