Jarrett R. Hoffman

Jarrett R. Hoffman advises companies, private equity sponsors, hedge funds, family offices and senior executives across all stages of the corporate and investment life cycle, drawing on extensive experience in the transactional and strategic aspects of executive compensation matters.

Jarrett R. Hoffman is a partner in Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz’s Executive Compensation Department.

Mr. Hoffman regularly counsels boards of directors, compensation committees, management teams and individual executives on executive employment relationships and transitions, including change‑in‑control, retention and severance arrangements.

Mr. Hoffman is active in a number of professional and community organizations, serving on the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, as a board member of the Center for Family Life in Sunset Park and on UJA’s Crisis to Stability Committee.

Mr. Hoffman has been consistently recognized by Chambers USA in the employee benefits and executive compensation category since 2019, with clients highlighting his strong commercial judgment and deep expertise.
