Joined Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in 2000 following a clerkship for the Honorable John G. Heyburn II of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky in Louisville and was named partner in 2007. He practices in the firm's Antitrust Department. He is included among the International Who's Who of Competition Lawyers and is a frequent writer and lecturer on antitrust and mergers and acquisitions. In 2012, Global Competition Review named him one of the top 40 competition lawyers under the age of 40 worldwide.
He sserved on the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and is a member of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section. He is a trustee of Woodberry Forest School in Virginia.
He received an AB in History cum laude from Princeton University in 1996 and a JD from Columbia Law School in 1999. At Columbia, he was a James Kent Scholar and an editor of the Columbia Law Review.
