David Lam

David K. Lam is Co-Chair of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions, corporate governance, and activism and takeover defense. He has advised on a broad range of matters, including domestic and international transactions, carve-out IPOs, spin-offs, split-offs, joint venture transactions and private equity transactions, across multiple industries.

Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Lam served as a law clerk to the Honorable José A. Cabranes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
