Jim Murdica is a partner and chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s Product Liability & Mass Torts practice. Jim specializes in the defense of pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer products companies, particularly in consolidated state litigations and federal MDLs. He has served and currently is lead defense counsel in several drug and device mass torts. Jim also negotiates and implements resolution strategies for significant mass torts.
Jim earned his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A. in chemistry from Cornell University.
