James Murdica is a partner and co-chair of Barnes & Thornburg’s Drug and Medical Device Practice Group. His practice focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device companies, particularly in consolidated state litigations and federal MDLs. He has served as and currently is lead defense counsel in several drug and device mass torts. James also negotiates and implements resolution strategies for significant mass torts. He frequently publishes and speaks on topics regarding these areas.
James earned his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania Law School and his B.A. in chemistry from Cornell University.
