Jae Keun Lee joined Yulchon in 2019. Starting his career at Seoul Central District Court in 2002, Mr. Lee served 17 years as a judge at various courts and institutions including Seoul High Court, Supreme Court, National Court Administration, and Suwon District Court – Seongnam Branch. While he served as a research judge at the Supreme Court, Mr. Lee accumulated ample work experience in a wide array of cases including civil, criminal, administrative, and family affair cases. He was also in charge of cases relating to provisional dispositions at Suwon District Court – Seongnam Branch, and at the Appellate Division of Seoul High Court for several years. With his expertise in civil litigation, Mr. Lee co-authored Compendium on Court Practice – Civil Procedure, Annotated Civil Procedure Act, and Annotated Civil Act during his time as a judge. Further, Mr. Lee was in charge of warrants and criminal trials at courts located in Jeonju, Daegu, and Seongnam. With such work experience and expertise, Mr. Lee currently specializes in a wide range of litigations at Yulchon as a partner in the Dispute Resolution Practice
