Yulchon’s Litigation Practice (“Practice”) began with the firm’s establishment in 1997. Since then, the Practice quickly expanded, in both number and prominence. Now with over 450 lawyers and other professionals, the Practice continues to hold true to its core values, i.e., innovation, excellence, and commitment to clients. The Practice has recruited highly qualified attorneys including esteemed judges from the court, thereby attaining growth in both quantity and quality (that is, being retained in many important, high-profile cases).


The Practice consists of an exceptional group of experts. Our traditionally strong finance dispute team is comprised of powerful star players. Our bench strength lies in the lineup of former judges with accumulated experience from the most coveted and elite positions within the judiciary. The former judges bring with them a wealth of experience and recent trends of the court, covering important legal issues across industry sectors and various fields of law. 


Our litigators formulate and implement a dispute resolution strategy tailored for each of our clients, focusing on each client’s specific needs and working in seamless cooperation with the firm’s other practice groups as necessary.


We possess a strong network of foreign law firms and actively recruit competent professionals from overseas to serve as reliable co-counsel for major outbound cases of domestic clients.
