Héctor Cárdenas Ortega joined the firm in 2010 and has been a partner since 2022.
He has extensive experience representing buyers, sellers, and financial advisors in investment, merger, and acquisition transactions across industries, including financial services, food and beverage, retail, education, real estate, data centers, technology, automotive, entertainment, construction, and logistics. His practice includes acquisitions through tender offers, financings, and reorganizations, with a focus on advising private equity funds on their structuring, formation, acquisitions, and divestments. His M&A practice has also made him seasoned in labor and employment matters.
In banking and finance, Héctor has advised domestic and international financial institutions, funds, and other creditors in domestic and cross-border financial transactions, particularly structured financings, as well as in restructurings and crisis management, both within and outside formal insolvency proceedings.
