Ms. Bao is an International Partner of Haiwen & Partners, who heads the firm’s private wealth law practice. She advises clients on succession planning, family trust, family office, family governance, asset protection and tax planning matters.

Ms. Bao is uniquely positioned to advise private clients on cross-border matters. She is qualified to practice law in the PRC and the New York State of the US. Having worked extensively on multi-jurisdiction projects for over 17 years in China mainland and Hong Kong, Ms. Bao is noted for providing innovative solutions to complex cross-border issues. Her previous experience as a litigator also enables her to provide pragmatic solutions and proactive strategies.

Ms. Bao advises a number of well-known Chinese business leaders as well as high-profile foreign individuals and families who have significant investments in China. Ms. Bao speaks extensively at international conferences such as the Cambridge Forum and STEP Asia Conference, as well as training sessions and client events held by leading international private banks such as Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, UBS, Citi, Julius Baer and RBC in PRC and abroad.
