Gwyneth is a partner of Maples and Calder's Funds & Investment Management team in the Maples Group's Cayman Islands office. She works extensively with hedge fund managers and private equity sponsors and their onshore counsel on all aspects of the establishment, maintenance and restructuring of offshore investment funds. She represents large global financial institutions and asset managers, as well as boutique and emerging managers. Gwyneth has over 30 years' experience advising on the formation and structuring of hedge, hybrid, credit and activist funds, private equity funds and investment fund platforms.
Gwyneth began her legal career at Herbert Smith Freehills, London, where she worked in the corporate group before moving to the investment funds group of King & Wood Mallesons, Sydney, Australia. She then moved in-house to AMP Financial Services as head of the retail investment funds legal team.
