The practice of law of Mr. Morales extends for more than three decades. He has vast experience advising both national and international companies in the processes of planning, negotiating and executing acquisition transactions and mergers, debt and equity securities offerings, and corporate restructurings.
Over the years he has advised and represented prominent national and international companies and institutions in a wide variety of situations and transactions. Among the clients that he has represented are all the major global banks and renowned corporate clients. He has been special local counsel to the Republic of Chile in all its major capital market transactions ever since 1999, as well as in virtually all its subsequent issuances and liability management transactions to date.
Partner at Morales & Besa. Honorary Legal Adviser to the British Embassy in Santiago. He worked as a foreign associate at White & Case LLP, New York (1987-88).
