Felipe has developed his career with a strong focus on investment funds, capital markets and cross-border corporate transactions. With almost 20 years of professional experience in New York, Luxembourg and Chile, he has advised institutional investors, asset managers and financial entities on the structuring, management and liquidation of complex investment vehicles, particularly in Luxembourg, Ireland, the Cayman Islands and Delaware.
Before founding EDN Abogados, Felipe practiced at leading international law firms in Luxembourg (Arendt and Loyens and Loeff), where he gained extensive expertise in fund formation, regulatory matters and cross-border M&A. He also served as Legal Counsel at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria in New York.
Since 2020, Felipe has been Managing Partner of EDN Abogados, leading the firm’s international investment funds and corporate practice, and regularly advising clients on sophisticated cross-border transactions connecting Latin America with global financial markets.
Felipe is Director of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce of Chile, and a member of the Chilean Bar Association, the Madrid Bar Association, the Luxembourg Bar Association and the International Bar Association (IBA).
Felipe has authored articles in Diario Financiero, Chambers & Partners and The Legal Industry Reviews on investment funds, alternative assets and cross-border transactions.
