Gina A. Ross

Gina has provided employment law advice on some of the most high profile Canadian mergers and acquisitions. She has appeared before all levels of Alberta and Canadian courts and tribunals on a variety of employment, occupational health and safety, and human rights related complex litigation matters and complaints. Gina regularly advises clients on managing hirings, terminations and downsizings, and the drafting and implementation of policies, best practices and contracts. Gina support clients and assist with complex workplace investigations and provides seasoned advice on crisis management, legislative changes, fiduciary obligations and related matters.

Gina has been with BD&P since her graduation from law school in 1988, and is proud to continue to have the opportunity to work with the smart, talented and innovative group of lawyers and staff that comprise the firm. Gina remains passionate about the law and to finding solutions for the issues that her clients face.

Gina balances work with her involvement in the equestrian community, including as a volunteer, Equestrian Canada and Alberta Equestrian Federation official, and riding and showing her horses. In addition, Gina performs considerable pro bono legal services and is Vice-Chair of the Epilepsy Association of Calgary.
