Gasant Orrie

Gasant Orrie is a partner in Bowmans’ Cape Town office M&A Practice. He has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law and has represented international companies, public companies listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, state-owned companies and government bodies in some of South Africa’s largest transactions. His sector experience covers financial services, hospitality and leisure, aviation, mining and energy. Gasant’s expertise extends to corporate governance matters including directors’ duties and liability, the King Report on Corporate Governance, general governance frameworks, board charters and terms of reference. He has BA and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town.
