Francisco A Macías

Francisco A. Macías has been a partner of Marval O'Farrell Mairal since 2002, and specializes in oil & gas, power, public services, infrastructure, natural resources, environmental law and protection of foreign investment.

His practice is mainly focused on international and local oil & gas, infrastructure and power transactions. He also advises clients on gas and power regulatory matters and a wide range of oil & gas and power contracts.

Before joining the firm he worked for the firm of Bazán, Cambré & Orts advising on oil & gas upstream and midstream transactions and environmental matters, from 1994 until 1997. He also worked for BBVA Banco Francés from 1993 until 1994.

He graduated from the Law School of the Universidad Católica Argentina in 1991 and obtained a Post Graduate Degree in International and EC Law from the School of Law of the University of Siena, Italy, in 1993. In 1992 he obtained a postgraduate degree in International Operations from the National Foreign Office Institute of Argentina -ISEN-.

He lectured on International Public law for the Law School of the Universidad Católica Argentina from 1994 to 1996.
