Fozeia is a Director in the Dispute Resolution and Trust & Private Client Teams and also leads the Employment & Immigration Team. She has extensive experience acting for local and international companies and HNW individuals in the private client, insurance/ reinsurance, banking, hotel and regulatory industries.
Fozeia regularly acts in high profile and large scale trust and estate litigation as well as a wide range of commercial disputes. She provides employment advice in relation to complex executive disputes, mergers, acquisitions and infrastructure projects. Fozeia also provides bespoke advice on immigration related issues.
Fozeia is highly commended by clients, peers and in publications and is recognized for her wealth of experience, knowledge, responsiveness, pragmatism and excellent client skills.
Prior to joining MJM in 2009, Fozeia worked with an offshore law firm in Bermuda before which she practiced shipping/insurance law in the City of London. In addition to being called to the Bermuda Bar, Fozeia is also admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales (non-practising). She is an accredited mediator, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as well as a member of the Trust & Private Client Advisory Group within the Bermuda Business Development Agency.
