Career
Flávio has extensive experience in civil litigation and arbitration, representing clients in arbitral proceedings in Brazil and abroad, as well as before Brazilian state and federal courts. He is specialist in arbitration and complex commercial disputes, advising domestic and international clients across various sectors, with particular focus on infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, and private equity.
Flávio also maintains broad and strategic relationships with foreign law firms, working on a wide range of international matters and cross-border disputes. He serves as an Officer of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and of the Energy Group of the Latin American Arbitration Association (ALARB). He was a member of the Advisory Board of the AMCHAM Arbitration Chamber (2018–2024) and served as an ICC YAF representative (2014–2017), during which time he also participated in the ICC Brazil national nomination committee.
