Significant transactions that Fi Ling has been involved in include advising / acting for the following:
- A consortium comprising HOPU, Hillhouse, Bank of China Group and Vanke Real Estate and CEO of Global Logistics Properties Limited ("GLP"), in the acquisition of GLP by way of a scheme of arrangement. This deal was awarded "Deal of the Year" and "Best Leveraged Finance Deal" at the FinanceAsia Achievement Awards, 2017, "M&A Deal of the Year: South East Asia" at The Asian Lawyer's Asia Legal Awards 2018, and M&A Deal of the Year (Premium) at the ALB SE Asia Law Awards, 2018.
- CWT Limited, and its controlling shareholder C & P Holdings Pte. Ltd in the pre-conditional voluntary general offer made by a wholly-owned subsidiary of HNA Holding Group Co. Limited for CWT.
- Baring Private Equity Asia Pte. Ltd. in the sale of a 73.8% stake held by its investee company, Singapore Retail Group Limited, in Courts Asia Limited ("Courts Asia") through a voluntary conditional cash offer made by Nojima Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. for Courts Asia.
- Wheelock and Company in the voluntary unconditional general offer for Wheelock Properties (Singapore) Limited ("Wheelock Properties"), where Wheelock Properties was valued at over S$2.5 billion.
- Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation Ltd ("Keppel T&T") in the acquisition of all the issued ordinary shares in the capital of Keppel T&T by Keppel Corporation Limited by way of a scheme of arrangement.
- Keppel Infrastructure Trust in relation to the combination of KIT and CitySpring Infrastructure.
