Evan Kanter

Evan Kanter focuses his practice on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, joint ventures, and general corporate law and business matters. Evan has significant experience counseling clients in the gaming, hospitality, human resources, and transportation sectors. He has achieved successful results for a broad range of clients, such as public companies, private equity funds, portfolio companies and commercial and tribal gaming operators. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2019, Evan was a partner at another global law firm, where he represented Hard Rock International in a variety of strategic transactions, such as its acquisition of a hotel/casino in Atlantic City and investments in other casino resort projects.
