Estefania López

Estefanía specializes in energy, infrastructure, and public procurement. She has actively advised in various delegations to private enterprise through concessions, public-private partnerships, and strategic alliances , guiding clients from the presentation of private initiatives to the execution of contracts.

Estefanía’s most recent experience includes advising foreign and national companies in renewable energy projects. In 2023 Ecuador granted ten concessions for renewable energy generation, and in recent years Estefanía has actively advise seven out of these ten concessionaires during the process leading to the execution of the concession contracts, including advice for structuring projects, during the tender processes, and in negotiating concession contracts.

At PBP and during her time as an in-house attorney at a major international engineering and construction company, she has worked on multiple tenders and the negotiation and execution of contracts. She has worked on various financing processes with international banks and entities to develop infrastructure projects in Ecuador.
