Eric Rubel

Eric Rubel’s practice focuses on consumer product safety matters. He is experienced in pre-market safety analysis, evaluating the need for and implementing recalls, coordinating global recalls, defending CPSC enforcement actions, helping companies comply with CPSC regulations, and assisting in litigation arising out of safety matters. He has represented manufacturers, distributors and retailers of consumer products, pharmaceutical drugs and cosmetics in a wide range of product safety matters. He was previously General Counsel of CPSC and co-head of the firm’s Product Liability Litigation practice group. He is co-chair of the ABA Consumer Products Regulation Committee.
